Before you apply.
- Who can apply to volunteer for Ganeshotsav Berlin 2026?
- Anyone above 16 years of age is welcome — first-timers, seasoned volunteers, students, professionals, and community members of every cultural background. Enthusiasm and a collaborative mindset matter more than experience.
- What is the registration deadline?
- 1st August 2026. We strongly encourage early sign-ups so we can match you with the right team well before the festival.
- What is the time commitment expected from volunteers?
- Roughly 70–80% of your team's activities in the run-up to the festival, and presence through the ten-day festival itself (September 14–26, 2026).
- Which teams can I join?
- Cultural Programs, Stage & Sound, Decoration, Food & Prasad, Kids' Activities, Registration & Guest Relations, Security & Crowd, Media & Content, Logistics, or Sponsorship. You can indicate preferences in the form.
- Is there a fee to volunteer?
- No. Volunteering is completely free. Volunteers receive meals during shifts, a certificate of participation, and priority access to certain festival experiences.
- Do I need to speak Hindi or Marathi?
- Not at all. English, German, Hindi, and Marathi are all spoken in the community. Just bring your energy — we'll take care of the rest.
- What happens after I submit the form?
- Our volunteer coordinators review your application and reach out via email or WhatsApp within 5–7 working days to confirm your team allocation and share onboarding details.
